Radisson Blu®, one of the world’s leading brands with nearly 300 hotels in operation in 69 countries and territories, today unveiled Paper City, an interactive game that draws upon five real life Radisson Blu destinations. After completing the Paper City game, players may enter for a chance to win a trip around the world. The grand prize includes up to 30 nights at any five Radisson Blu hotel destinations and airfare for two.
“Paper City was inspired by the brand’s passion for design and global destinations,” said Rose Anderson, vice president, branding Radisson Blu. “It allows users the opportunity to explore some of our unique locales and draws upon themes of both the destination as well as our brand including arts, architecture, food and drink, technology and wellness.”
Paper City was developed by Barcelona based Lobulo Design, a creative agency that specializes in making designs and illustrations with paper. Paper City was designed and constructed by six artists using real paper. The build took over 750 hours encompassing over 20,000 cuts. The city was then photographed, filmed and transformed into a 3-D game environment that invites users to explore and identify five real cities hidden within based on a set of themed clues. Once a user identifies the five hidden destinations within Paper City, they can register for the contest and submit a brief essay describing their dream destination for a chance to win a trip to up to five destinations around the world where a Radisson Blu hotel is located. Contest is subject in all respects to the complete Official Rules, ends October 12, 2016 and is void where prohibited. Users can also discover their own inner architect by downloading five papercraft templates.
