Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the ten largest hotel groups worldwide, announces the Radisson Blu Hotel, Rouen in France. The 91-room property is scheduled to open in third quarter 2015, and brings Carlson Rezidor's French portfolio to 23 hotels in operation and under development.

The site of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Rouen is centrally located in the heart of Rouen, walking distance from the railway station and adjacent to the medieval Tour Jeanne d'Arc. In addition to Radisson Blu signature services such as complimentary high speed Internet access, the first class - full service property will offer an all-day restaurant and bar area, plus 3,200 square feet of meeting and events facilities as well as gym and spa. Architecture and design of the hotel will be an attractive mix combining historic construction with new build.
Rouen, located in Northern France, is the capital of the region “Haute-Normandie” and known as the historical capital of the Normandy. The city's economy is mainly driven by heavy industry, such as automotive: The head offices of Renault, Peugeot and Mov'eo are located in the Rouen province. The city has also started to focus more on leisure tourism and has become popular for cultural vacations, weekend breaks and business incentives.
Carlson Rezidor has developed a strong network of Radisson Blu hotels in key destinations across France. The brand has six properties in Greater Paris; in Toulouse, Biarritz, Nantes, Cannes, and Marseille, and a resort on the French island of Corsica.
