Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group believes the hospitality industry has a critical role to play in preventing the human trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and children, and we are proud to be recognized as an industry leader in this fight.
Carlson Rezidor continuously looks for new ways to expand our commitment to this cause and takes a holistic approach to implementing our anti-trafficking efforts, focusing on core business practices, philanthropy, advocacy and partnerships.
As part of our core business practices, we require human trafficking awareness education and training of all hotel employees and include anti-trafficking language in our company codes, policies and contracts.
In 2015, Carlson Rezidor was the first company to partner with the non-profit organization ECPAT-USA to create human trafficking awareness signs to be displayed at front desks or lobby areas in our U.S. hotels. These signs raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking, and provide contact information for anyone who might suspect a case of human trafficking and for victims to reach out for life-saving services.
