Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world's largest and most dynamic hotel groups, today announced the further expansion of Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM in Texas. The opening of Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Lubbock, TX, marks the brand's growth in the region as part of its Ambition 2015 strategy.
“The brand has established a strong footprint in Texas with 20 Country Inns & Suites locations,” said Scott Meyer, senior vice president, Midscale Brands, Americas. “The continued growth in this region is another step forward in our plan to expand the brand primarily in the U.S., Canada, India and Mexico.”
The hotel offers 35 standard rooms, 17 studio suites, seven one-bedroom suites, one whirlpool suite, and four two-bedroom suites. The property features on-site amenities that include complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, a well-equipped fitness center, a heated indoor pool and whirlpool. In addition, each guest room has a 42-inch LCD TV, a pillow-top mattress, a microwave, a refrigerator and a coffee maker.
